Amanda Santarossa, R.Psych

Since my school years, I have been interested in ‘what it means to build community.’ I continually find myself drawn into how people connect, come together, and how our relationships are often a reflection of who we are.

My goal in therapy is to work with my clients in a way that is most helpful to them; most often, this involves a collaborative approach and a co-creation of solutions. I offer a mindful, compassion-centred approach to counselling that incorporates Eastern and Western psychology practices.

I enjoy working with a variety of populations including youth, adults, families, and groups.

In my practice I use an integrative approach, which involves EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing), psychodynamic, and attachment.
