Deciding to attend therapy often happens when life feels hard. It can be tough to make the decision to ask for help but once decided you want to work with someone you can connect with and with whom you can build a relationship. I believe within the relationship and the connection we find healing.

My initial focus in therapy is to build relationship with clients by establishing safety and trust. Feeling a sense of safety and trust allows clients to be wholly heard and seen. When a client has the opportunity to speak their truth they can finally work towards healing deep hurts, owning the fullness of their uniqueness and establish profound wellness.

I work hard to create a comfortable space. My goal is create the feeling of what it is like to connect with a good friend but with emphasis on skilled intervention based on advanced training and experience. I offer a sense of partnership in my practice and together we determine the focus of our work together and how we are going to approach change.

I specialize in working with attachment, addiction, trauma, stress, grief, depression and anxiety. Together, we explore connections between what has happened in the past and how that impacts the present but mainly focus on how we chose to move towards a different future. This therapy can feel quite different than anything that you may have experienced before and challenge you to experience a feeling of being vulnerable but also leads to lasting change. Change towards a better self where life feels easier.
